About Balarishta

Balarishta (also spelled Balarishtam) is an Ayurvedic medicine classified under the Arishta Category, which is used for all diseases occurring due to Vata aggravation or excess Vata in the body.

Balarishtam has restorative properties and improves body strength and nourishes the Vata organs. Some ingredients in the Balarishta improve digestion and liver functions. Precautions For Balarista

Dosage of Balarishta

Balarishta should be taken by adults twice or three times daily in a dose of 20 ml diluted in 50 ml of warm water; if symptoms are severe, the dose may be increased to 24 ml diluted in the same way and taken twice or three times daily; the doses should be taken after food to prevent gastric irritation; and the duration of treatment should range from 2 weeks to 4 months.
