About Amrutadi Guggul
Amrutadi Guggulu, a polyherbal traditional Ayurvedic medicine, is a laxative and blood purifier that balances out-of-control vata. It is primarily indicated for Vata Rakta, a Vata vyadhi also known as gouty arthritis.
Ingredients of Amrutadi Guggul
In addition to triphala, Amrutadi Guggulu’s two main ingredients are guggul and giloy, also known as amrita.
- Commiphora wightii, or Suddha Guggulu
- Tinospora cordifolia, also known as Amrita (Giloy)
- Emblica officinalis, also called amla (Amalaki),
- Terminalia bellirica is known as Bibhitaki.
- Terminalia chebula, or “Haritaki,”
