If administered early Silicea generally prevents the development of a whitlow (Ruddock).

It should be tried when Hep. Sul. fails or when improvement stops.

MYRISTICA SEBIFERA 6

This is an excellent remedy for felon. It should be given as soon as the swelling starts around nail.

Also, useful when pus has formed.

It hastens suppuration and aborts pus quickly.

Pain in finger nails with swelling of phalanges.

DIOSCOREA 6, 30

It is useful in the beginning when pricking is first felt or when pains are sharp and agonizing.
