Oedematous swelling of the face and extremities.
Constant dull pain in both kidneys, worse on pressure or on stooping.
Stinging, burning and smarting pain during urination.
Urine scanty or suppressed, coming in drops.
Great restlessness.

Inflammation of kidneys.
Does not want to be touched.
Chill followed by nephritic pains, nausea and vomiting.
Piercing pains as from knives plunged into kidneys.
Urine difficult, scanty, dark with thick brown sediment.
Cutting in kidneys.
BELLADONNA 30
Bell. is of greatest service in inflammation of the kidneys with stitching pains in kidneys. Pain extending along the ureter as far as the bladder.
Urine scanty, cloudy, dark, loaded with phosphates.
Pains come and go suddenly.
BERBERIS VULGARIS 6, 30
The main influence of this remedy is found on the kidneys.
Kidneys inflamed.
Burning pains in kidney region and ureter.
Sensation as if some urine remained after urination.
Constant urging to urinate.
Urine is bright red, mealy sediments, sometimes it may be dark and turbid.
Soreness in lumbar region and kidneys.
Cannot bear pressure, jar. Has to step down carefully. Jar or jolt intolerable.
Pain is somewhere in the back side and shoots up the back or into the spermatic cord or testes, bladder, buttock or legs.
Pain may shoot up or down or in both ways.
Pain in back is chief indication for Berberis.
Berberis makes the function of the kidneys normal.
CANTHARIS 6, 30
The whole urinary organs and genitalia are in a state of inflammation and irritation.
Constant desire to urinate.
The urine is passed in drops and mixed with blood.
Discharge of bloody urine, which burns like fire.
Intolerable tenesmus, cutting before, during and after urination.
Paroxysmal cutting and burning pain in renal region, which is very sensitive to the slightest touch.
Cutting and burning pain in urethra.
There may be high fever.
OCIMUM CANUM 6, 30
It is to be remembered in diseases of the kidneys, bladder and urethra that red sand in urine is its chief characteristic and is frequently verified.
Renal colic, right side, with violent vomiting, moaning and crying.
Cramps in kidneys.
Red and bloody urine with brick-dust sediment.
Thick and purulent urine with an intolerable smell of musk.
TEREBINTHINA 6, 30
Terebinthina is most important remedy in the early stages of renal diseases when congestion is prominent.
Congestive kidneys with dull aching and smoky urine.
Violent burning and drawing pains in kidneys, bladder and urethra.
Urine smoky and coffee-ground.
Sediment or thick yellow, slimy, muddy sediment.
Burning in bladder and urethra when urinating.
Tongue smooth and glossy.
MERCURIUS SOLUBILIS 6, 30
Nephritis with diminished secretion of urine with frequent urging.
Urine saturated with albumin.
Urine dark, mixed with blood.
Profuse oily sweat.
