Syphilis

MERCURIUS SOLUBILIS 3X, 200 ONWARDS

Merc. Sol. is the head remedy for all stages of non-congenital and acquired syphilis.

It should be given in low potencies in acute cases and in very high potencies in chronic cases.

It corresponds to the majority of symptoms of secondary syphilis, to the syphilitic fever, to soft chancres and to buboes, to sore throat and nocturnal syphilitic pain which banish sleep as soon as the patient goes to bed.

All symptoms are worse at night from warmth of bed, from damp, cold, rainy weather, worse during perspiration.

Foetid discharge.

Red chancre on prepuce.

Spreading and deeply penetrating ulcer on glands and prepuce.

Painful bleeding chancre with yellowish foetid discharge.

MERC. PROTO-IODIDE 6

When chancre is hard, painless, with no tendency to suppuration.

MERC. BIN-IODIDE 6

Indolent (slow of action or in growth) chancre and bubo.

Stubborn suppurating buboes, discharging for years.

Hard, red swelling in front of prepuce and painless hard chancre in the center.

MERCURIUS CORROSIVUS 6

Useful when chancres assume phagedenic appearance and secrets a thin enormous pus.

Hard chancre.

Spreading ulcers with ragged edges.

MERC. DULCIS 6

Useful when there are phagedenic ulcers in the mouth and throat.

NITRIC ACID 6, 30

Nit Acid is most useful after abuse of mercury. It is useful for ulcers which spread more in circumference than in depth. The chancres are phagedenic with exuberant granulations, bleeding easily.

The ulcers have raised and irregular edges and splinter like pains in them.

The buboes threaten to suppurate.

Bone pains at night, particularly of the ones of the head and the long bones.

The pains are generally splinter like.

Condylomatous growths and warts that bleed often on the slightest touch.

Foul smell of sweat, of urine, faces and breath.

Syphilitic ulcers in the mouth.

ARSENIC ALBUM 6, 30

Phagedenic chancres with intense burning. Margins of ulcers hard and bleeding at least touch, with a thin offensive discharge.

Constitutional syphilis with characteristic symptoms of the drug.

AURUM METALLICUM 6, 30

Secondary syphilis with ulcerations in the mouth, especially after abuse of mercury.

Caries of the nasal bones, a stinking discharge and pieces of bone are discharged.

Pains in bones of the face.

Bones of skull painful when lying on them.

Patient is hopeless, despondent and great desire to commit suicide.

CINNABARIS 3, 6, 30

It is useful when there is sycotic history on a syphilitic base.

Fan-shaped warty growth on the skin, especially on the prepuce.

Redness and swelling of prepuce with painful itching.

Violent itching of corona glandis, with profuse secretion of pus.

Small, red and shining point on the glans.

Red, swollen, chancres with hard, elevated edges, discharging thin pus.

KALI IODATUM 6, 30

This remedy is useful in the tertiary stage of syphilis.

Gnawing bone pains. Throbbing in the nasal and frontal bones.

Greenish-yellow excoriating ozaena.

Papules ulcerating and leaving scars.

Chancres with hard edges and curdy pus.

KALI BICHROMICUM 6, 30

Syphilitic affection of the mouth and fauces.

Bone pains with stitches as from sharp needles.

Perforated chancres, ulcerating in nose, mouth and throat.

Indurated chancres, ulcerating deeply, pricking and itching in glans penis.

Gleet with stringy discharge.

HEPAR SULPH

Ulcers like chancres on prepuce, with diffuse borders and red base with sticking pains in them, secreting a watery pus.

Tendency to suppuration, over sensitive to all impressions to cold, to pain, to touch, noise, odors, to draught of air are very strong symptoms of Hep. Sul.

CARBO ANIMALIS 6, 30

Copper colored blotches on the skin, especially on face.

Induration of glands.

Indurated buboes, mostly left sided, with lancinating and cutting pains.

Buboes sensitive to touch when beginning to suppurate.

PHYTOLACCA 6, 30

Useful in secondary syphilis.

Ulcers in throat and genitals. Syphilitic rheumatism, with pains worse at night.

Pains shift. Pain in middle of long bones. Pain worse at night and in damp weather.

THUJA 200

Chancres with splinter like pain.

Moist excrescences on prepuce and glans.

Whitish chancres with hard edges.

SULPHUR 200

Burning and redness of prepuce. Deep suppurating ulcers on glans and prepuce, with fed edges.

Stitches in penis.

Induration of testes.
