Coccygodynia

This is a neuralgic pain effecting the last bone (coccyx) of the vertebral column. It is caused by cold, injury, forcep- delivery, or suppression of skin-eruptions.

Treatment

Pain is bruising or band-like in character—Causticum 6. In tearing or wrenching pains— Cicuta 1. Pain increases on pressure—Silicea 6. Pain while sitting and aggravated on walking or touching—Kali bi. 3x. Heavy sensation at the tip and the patient lies down in agony—Antim, Tart. 6. Tingling pain—Ruta 1 or Rhus Tox 6.
