Goitre
It is a non-inflammatory enlargement and degeneration of the thyroid gland. The chemical character of the water-supply (excess of magnesium, lime-stone), nature of the food and geological peculiarity of the locality have only a secondary influence on the disease.
Treatment
Try for one week, Thyrodin 3x, twice daily. In acute cases while the gland is soft, lodium Ó¨ is to be applied locally. In slight cases, Calcarea Carb. 3x. In chronic cases, Merc. lod. 6x.
Other remedies recommended: Spongia 3, lodium 6.
