Hydro-Haemato or Physo-Metra

Owing to natural closure of the Os or to artifical closure as the result of local ulceration, as well as to endometritis, water, blood or air may accumulate inside it. If it is air, it escapes now and again, with the production of unpleasant sounds. For physo-metra (accumulation of wind in the uterus), give Bell. 3x or Lyco. 12. For haemato- metra (accumulation of blood in the uterus) or hydro-metra (accumulation of fluid in the uterus), give Calc. Carb. 6, Carbo Veg. 30.
