Hydrocele

This is an accumulation of water (serum of blood) in the bag holding the testicles. It may be one-sided or bilateral. The causes are unknown.

Treatment

Spongia 3x-6—During inflammation stages. Rhododendron 3x-6 Useful in the acute condition, especially if the right side is affected and if it is painful or if aggravation occurs before a storm comes on. This failing try Rhus Tox. 6-30 (if aggravation occur on exposure to cold). Pulsatilla 6-30 If the left testicle is affected and there is no pain and it increases very slowly in size. Silicea 6-30: If aggravation occurs at the time of full-moon or new-moon. Hamamelis 6—6: If the spermatic cord also is affected. Arnica 6-30: If due to injury. Calc. Carb. 6-30: Valuable in case of children. In congenital cases or in early stages of every case. Bryonia 3. This failing, try in succession: Rhododendron 3, Puls. 6, Silicea 6, Aurum Met. 6, Graphites 6-30.

Get the hydrocele tapped by a qualified surgeon or have a radical cure done by operation as a scrotal supporter.
