This is swelling of the leg, due to clot forming inside the vein of the thigh. The leg looks blanched, pain from lower abdomen to leg, fever, increase of lochial discharge, stoppage of breast-milk are the usual symptoms.

The legs must be kept warm and at absolute rest. Try— Puls. 6, Hamamelis 3x, Apis 6, Rhus Tox. 6.
