SBL Cantharis ointment

for burning.

Cantharis- It is effective on Eruption with mealy scales, Vesicular eruptions, with burning and itching.: Cantharis: It works well for vesicular eruptions, which cause burning and itching as well as eruptions with mealy scales.

Sunburn is also soothed by it.

Useful for scalds, burns, erysipelas of the vesicular type, which are very restless, with rawness and smarting that is relieved by cold applications.

It alleviates nighttime foot burning.

The ointment is useful for treating psoriasis and applying to skin ulcers. It has also been found to be very effective on burns and scalds, skin injuries brought on by contact with hot liquid and steam, post-burn boils, and burns and scalds.

When burns result from dry heat, wet heat (hot drinks), or sunburns, cantharis aids in the quick recovery of burned skin and can be administered in all such cases.

Cantharis has the propensity to prevent blister development, but it is still very beneficial in burn cases where blisters do develop.
