Content of Topi Arnica Cream

The pharmacologically active components of the root—flavones and essential oils—are said to have analgesic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory effects. Topi Arnica contains 10% of Amica tincture, which is made from the flowering Arnica plant.

Direction of use of Topi Arnica Cream

Dosage: Topi Arnica ought to be applied as follows, unless otherwise directed:

• To use Topi Arnica under a bandage or tape, it is advised to stay away from airtight materials and to change the bandage or tape every day. A thin layer of the cream should be applied to the cleaned, dried, and affected areas twice or three times daily.
• Avoiding touching anyone who has an open wound.

Side effects: When using the cream, allergic skin reactions may occasionally occur.

Contra-indications: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to plants in the Compositae family (the family that includes Arnica) should not use this product.

Interactions: Topi Arnica and other products do not seem to interact with one another.
