Homeopathy Medicine for Scoliosis

Aside from conditions like cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, scoliosis, which is a sideways curvature of the spine, most frequently develops during the growth spurt just before puberty. About 3% of adolescents have scoliosis.

The majority of scoliosis cases are mild, but some spine deformities worsen as kids age, and severe scoliosis can make it difficult for the lungs to function normally.

In many cases, no treatment is required for children who have mild scoliosis, but some children will need to wear a brace to prevent the curve from getting worse, and others may need surgery to straighten severe cases of scoliosis. Children with mild scoliosis are closely monitored, typically with X-rays, to see if the curve is getting worse.

  • Uneven shoulders
  • a different-looking shoulder blade from the other
  • Uneven waist
  • the difference between the two hips

The ribs on one side of the body protrude more than on the other as a result of a scoliosis curve that worsens the spine’s side-to-side curvature as well as its ability to rotate or twist.

The exact cause of scoliosis is unknown, but because the condition tends to run in families, it appears to involve hereditary factors. Less common types of scoliosis may be caused by:

  • Muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders like cerebral palsy
  • birth defects that interfere with the spine’s skeletal development
  • infections or injuries to the spine

Although scoliosis is typically a mild condition, it can occasionally result in complications like the following:

  • Damage to the lungs and heart may result from severe scoliosis because the rib cage may press on the organs, making breathing more difficult and the heart’s pumping process more challenging.
  • Back problems-People with scoliosis in their adult years are more likely than the general population to experience chronic back pain.
  • **Aesthetics-**People with scoliosis frequently experience self-consciousness regarding their appearance as the condition progresses, which can result in more obvious changes such as unbalanced hips and shoulders, prominent ribs, and a shift of the waist and trunk to one side.

1. Silicea :Useful for scoliosis with a right-sided spinal curvature, which causes shooting, aching, or beating pain that is worse from motion and touch, as well as a burning sensation in the spine and weakness.

2. Calcarea Phos :Useful for spinal curvatures caused by weak spines, scoliosis with spinal curvature to the left side, back pain that worsens with motion, and pain between the shoulder blades. Especially helpful for girls who grow quickly during puberty and are predisposed to spine curvatures and softening of the bones.

3. Rhus Tox :Useful for pain between the shoulder blades that is sensitive to touch, pain from scoliosis in the dorsal spine that is exacerbated by sitting or lying down, and pain in the small of the back.

4. Aesculus :Useful for back pain caused by scoliosis when walking and bending over make the pain worse. Useful when there is a lame and weak feeling in the back.

5. Phosphorus :useful for treating scoliosis, which causes the small of the back to hurt and feel broken. The entire spine also feels dulled down, and there may be a burning or hot sensation.
