Vaginismus

This is painful spasm of the muscles of the vagina, as soon as the male organ is attempted to be introduced the pain may be so severe as to bring on fits of unconsciousness. Newly married girls who dread to go to their husbands should be examined for this disease.

Treatment

Silicea 6 Nux Vom. 6 Bell. 6, Ignatia 6. If there is lead in the system, Plumbum 6.

Hot hip-sitz-bath and abstinence from coitus are recommended.
