Indication of Allen A61 Whooping Cough Drops

A61 Whooping Cough Drops are prescribed for whooping coughs that are short, convulsive, and followed by an intake of breath. These symptoms are brought on by Bordetella pertussis infection, inflammation, and the production of thick, sticky mucus.

Composition of Allen A61 Whooping Cough Drops

• 3x Belladonna
• Rotundifolia Drosera 3
• three instances of the cactus
• 3x Ipecacuanha
• 3 times the antimony tartrate
• Metallic Cuprum 3 times
• Rubrum Corallium 6c
• Magnesium Phosphoric Acid, 3x
• 3 times in water with distillate of bryonia

Dosage of Allen A61 Whooping Cough Drops

• After the first four days, increase the dosage to 30 drops three times daily by adding 50 drops to a half cup of water each time.

Mode of Action:

• Belladonna: Laryngitis pain, barking cough, and threat of suffocation kept me awake after midnight.
• Drosera Rotundifolia: A nocturnal cough is one that starts as soon as the head touches the pillow in the evening and is spasmodic, deep-sounding, hoarse, and barking. The chest feels tight as you cough.
• Coccus Cacti: Whooping cough episodes end with the vomiting of viscous mucus and a suffocating cough.
• Ipecacuanha: An asthmatic cough that is dry, spasmodic, constricted, relentless, violent, and accompanied by the rattling of bronchial mucus
• Antimonium Tartaricum: Cough triggered by eating, with pain in the chest and larynx. Coarse rattling with wet sounding cough, but scanty, difficult expectoration, unable to get it out. Cough followed by vomiting or sleep. Coughing and gasping consecutively.
• Cuprum Metallicum: With a blue face and a whooping cough that lasts for a long time and is suffocating, the patient is unable to speak.
• Corallium Rubrum: After whooping cough, one experiences a dry, spasmodic, suffocating, rapid, short, and barking cough, as well as heightened airway sensitivity and a cold sensation on deep inspiration. One also feels suffocated and extremely worn out.
• Magnesium Phosphoricum: coughing fits that make it difficult to lie down and are dry and tickling.
• Bryonia Alba: Dry, difficult, excruciatingly painful nighttime cough with stabbing chest pain.
