About Drakshasava

Drakshasava is a liquid Ayurvedic medicine that can treat hemorrhoids, fever, and other conditions. It contains 5–10% self-generated alcohol, which works with the water in the product to transport the body’s active herbal ingredients that are soluble in both water and alcohol.

The name of the medicine is derived from two words, Draksha and Asava, which respectively mean dry grapes or resins and a fermented formulation. However, Drakshasava is only prepared by the Kashaya method. Constipation

Drakshasava, which contains raisins as its primary ingredient, has mild laxative effects and stimulates the liver’s production of bile, which travels to the intestine and causes peristalsis, which naturally aids in the improvement of liver functions, digestion, and bowel movement.

Bile Insufficiency & Poor Appetite

Since bile tends to have an alkaline nature and neutralizes excess stomach acid before it enters the small intestine, bile insufficiency causes indigestion, poor appetite, and in some cases, a burning sensation in the abdomen. Bile insufficiency is not a disease, but rather a symptom of liver and gallbladder malfunctions.

In this situation, Drakshasava boosts bile secretion and restores its natural processes, which helps to enhance liver functions, digestion, and indigestion while lowering bloating and boosting appetite.

Belching

Drakshasava helps to reduce excessive belching by reducing the amount of air in the alimentary canal and belching, which is a natural reflex for releasing extra air from the stomach.
