About Kasamrit Herbal

In terms of treating asthma, the common cold, asthmatic cough, and bronchitis, Kasamrit Herbal is a thoroughly researched, all-natural herbal supplement.

Ingredients of Kasamrit Herbal

Pipal (Ficus religosa)

  • The bronchial musculature is affected by the anticholinergic action of the bark extract, which contains glycosides, resins, and trace amounts of alkaloids. The bark extract has varying degrees of relaxing and spasmolytic effects on smooth muscles.

Sonth (Zingiber officinale)

  • The active ingredients gingerol dehydrogingerdione and gingerdion are extremely potent inhibitors of prostaglandin synthesis, which supports the mechanism of action for their anti-inflammatory effects. They also have proven antihistaminic effects.

Nagarmotha (cyperus rotunuds)

  • It also has anti-bacterial activity. The extracts have been shown to have antipyretic, analgesic, antihistaminic, and antiemetic effects. Smooth muscle relaxant effects have also been noted.

Kantakari (Solanum xanthocarpum)

  • The glucoalkaloids and steam extract, after initial potentiation, cause refractoriness to the constrictor responses of acetylcholine and histamine. Histamine releasing effects have been observed. The crude drug extracts cause transient hypotensive effect, which is partially inhibited by atropine. The resinous and crystalline fractions of leaf extract cause contraction of the tracheal chain.

Tulsi (occimum sanctum)

  • Protective action against histamine-induced bronchospasm has been observed, as well as antibacterial and antifungal activities. The extract exhibits hypotensive activity and inhibited the smooth muscle contraction induced by acetylcholine, carbachol, and histamine.

Talishpatra (Abies webbiana)

  • The leaves contain an essential volatile oil that is beneficial for asthma, colds, and coughs as well as for expectoration by liquefying phlegm.

Kalimarich (Piper nigrum)

  • Along with antipyretic and analgesic properties, the crystalline alkaloid piperine has been shown to have CNS depressant effects.

Dalchini

  • The extract from the bark, which contains eugenol and cinnamaldehyde, is very effective for treating cough, colds, and bronchitis.

Apamarg (Cinnamomum zelanicum)

  • The cardiotonic effect of the seeds’ saponin, which has demonstrated cardiac stimulant activity, has been demonstrated.

Goniari (Clerodendron phlomidis)

  • The extract works well as a cold and cough remedy and as a cardiac tonic.

Vacha (Acorus calamus)

  • The essential oil gives it an expectorant effect, which is why it’s used as an asthma remedy.

Vasaka (Adhatoda Vasica)

  • The leaf extract is used for the treatment of bronchitis and asthma because it relieves cough and shortness of breath. The active alkaloids, vasicine, and its auto-oxidation product, vasicinone, have demonstrated bronchodialatory and antihistaminic effects.

Sohaga (Borax)

  • It functions as an expectorant as well as a stebolizer for all the alkoloides present in the medication.

Tagar (Valeriana wallichii)

  • The extract exhibits sedative activity in addition to controlling cough and breathlessness due to its enhanced valepotriate content and velelrianic acid.
