Benefits & Medicinal Uses of Khadiradi Vati
Laryngitis (Hoarseness Or Loss Of Voice)
In addition to Khadiradi Vati, Ashwagandha extract should be taken with milk if hoarseness is brought on by overuse.
Khadiradi Vati should also be used in conjunction with Sitopaladi Churna, Yashad (Jasad) Bhasma, and Gandhak Rasayan with honey for prompt relief.
Mouth Ulcers & Stomatitis
For best results, licorice (Mulethi or Yashtimadhu or Glycyrrhiza Glabra) should also be used in such a condition. Khadiradi Vati reduces pain and burning sensation associated with mouth ulcers and decreases inflammation of mucous membranes, which gives relief in stomatitis.
Sore Throat (Pharyngitis)
By acting as an emollient (soothing) agent in conjunction with Sitopaladi Churna, Yashad (Jasad) Bhasma, and Gandhak Rasayan, Khadiradi Vati also inhibits the growth of bacteria, which may be the cause of sore throat.
Tonsillitis & Tonsils Infections
When combined with Sitopaladi Churna, Yashad (Jasad) Bhasma, and Gandhak Rasayan, Khadiradi Vati may not be effective in treating tonsil infections on its own but does help to lessen tonsil irritation, pain, and inflammation.
