About Mrigank Ras

Mrigank Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine that comes in tablet or powder form. It is indicated in pulmonary diseases, chronic fever, cough, bronchitis, indigestion, dysentery, and is a stimulant to the heart and lungs. It is used to treat tuberculosis, emaciation, chronic respiratory diseases, among other conditions. However, because it contains heavy metal ingredients, it should only be taken under strict medical supervision.

Ingredients of Mrigank Ras (Swarna Moti Yukta)

  • Swarna Bhasma – Swarna Bhasma, also known as Gold Bhasma, Swarn Bhasm, and Suvarna Bhasm, is an ayurvedic drug that boosts the actions and efficacy of other drugs and herbs.
  • Moti Bhasma, also known as Mukta Bhasma, is an Ayurvedic medicine made from pearl that is used to treat digestive disorders, asthma, cough, and cold symptoms.
  • Inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, chronic respiratory conditions, asthma, anemia, obesity, non-healing wounds, and digestive issues are all treated with Parad (Suddha), which is purified and processed mercury. It is also used to strengthen the immune system, treat cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, diseases of the urinary tract, treat fistula in ano, and treat cardiac diseases.
  • Sulphur is known as “Gandhak” in Sanskrit and Hindi due to its potent peculiar rotten-egg like smell. It is a non-metallic element found in nature. There are four varieties of sulfur viz. red, yellow, white, and black. Of these, the red and black are not currently available. Yellow variety is used for internal use while white is used for topical applicatin.
