INTIAL STAGE (MILD CASES)
ACONITUM NAPELLUS
Sudden onset, dry and hot skin, dry mouth, restlessness, excitement, fear of death, dry cough, left side chest pain that is worse when lying on the left, profuse sweating that wants to be undone, fever, and thirst.
BAPTISIA TINCTORIA
All-over pain and soreness, a high fever that appeared out of nowhere, chills with body aches, fever and diarrhea, and profound prostration are all symptoms.
BELLADONNA
Forehead hot, feet cold, sweat on affected part, no thirst with fever. High temperature. Dry heat, externally hot. Burning, pungent, steaming heat. Delirium.
BRYONIA ALB
Fever, a stitching pain in the chest, a dry cough, intense thirst, joint pains, irritability, and a desire to lie still. There may also be vertigo. There is also easy, profuse sweating and sweat that becomes sour or oily after light exertion.
EUPATORIUM PERFOLIATUM
Drinking makes you nauseous and causes bitter vomiting at the end of the chill. Sweating relieves all symptoms except the headache. Fever with severe bone pains. Great soreness and aching of bones. Thirst before chill; chills with thirst; and along with backache, wants to be covered.
FERRUM PHOSPHORICUM
For the initial phase of all catarrhal and inflammatory fevers, symptoms include a throbbing headache, sensitive scalp, earaches, chills, a dry cough, heat, and sweaty hands.
GELSEMIUM SEMPERVENS
Fever with muscular soreness, great prostration, and headache. Fever with dullness, drowsiness, and dizziness. Chills down the back and a desire to lie still.
HEPAR SULPUR
Catarrhal fever with ear, nose, and throat complaints. Chilliness. Chilly in open air or the slightest breeze. Thirstlessness in the cold and thirst in the heat. Throat pain is relieved by warmth. Profuse, sour, sticky, and offensive sweat.
IPECACUANHA
Thirstlessness with chills, cold hands and feet, one hand being cold while the other is hot, nausea and salivation, breathlessness and a dry cough that causes nausea and vomiting, and a clean, uncoated tongue are the main symptoms of the stomach.
PULSATILLA NIGRICANS
Catarrhal fever accompanied by snuffles. Internally feels feverish, externally imperceptible. Chilliness without thirst. Thirst with heat, wanting to be covered in heat. External heat is intolerable, veins are swollen. Ever-changing symptoms. Coated tongue, with slimy bitter taste.
RHUS TOXICODENDRON
Great restlessness, a dry cough that gets better with movement, stiff muscles that get better with a chill, a thirst for water, a tongue with a triangular red tip, heat rashes, and urticaria.
SEVERE CASES
ANTIMONIUM ARSENICOSUM
Catarrhal pneumonia, dyspnea with excessive secretion, wheezing, which gets worse when you’re eating or lying down, rales and crepitations in the chest, which are more common in elderly and climacteric people, heart conditions, weakness, and restlessness, as well as coated tongue from thirst.
ARSENIC ALBUM
Large amounts of anxiety and agitation. Proneness. Dry burning heat with a desire for cold water; wants to be exposed during heat stage. Heat and chill alternate. Difficulty breathing, wheezing, worse lying down. Shortness of breath, must sit up. Pain in the right upper side of the lung. Thirst for small amounts of water at frequent intervals. Water tastes bitter. Complaints worse after midnight.
BROMIUM
Long-lasting cold and cough, made worse by heat in the summer. Right lower lobe of the lung is particularly affected. Cough in the morning, made worse by open air, made better by drinking. Dry cough during heat. Loose cough, made worse by exertion and heat. Cough with hoarseness, burning pain behind the sternum. Cough with rattling of mucus in the larynx. Wants to take deep breath, but it triggers cough.
CHELIDONIUM MAJUS
Right lower lobe is affected. Cough is loose, rattling, expectoration is difficult or it flies from mouth, there is pain at the lower angle of the scapula, there is hemoptysis with dark colored expectoration, the tongue is yellow with the imprint of the teeth, large, and flabby, and the skin has a yellow tint to it.
JUSTICIA ADHATODA
Coughing fits, sneezing fits, severe dyspnea with cough, tightness across chest, hoarseness, and painful larynx are all symptoms of paroxysmal coughing with suffocative obstruction of breathing.
KALI CARBONICONICUM
Salty expectoration and cough with involuntary urination. Anxiety felt in chest and stomach, better sitting at elbow and knee. Profuse sweat on slightest exertion. Worse at 2-3 am, lying on painful side or left side, sudden motion. Consider after Belladonna and Bryonia. Dry, hard cough, about 3 am, with stitching pain in chest, worse by lying down, have to sit upright.
LYCOPODIUM CLAVATUM
Right lower lobe is affected by neglected or untreated pneumonia, which causes severe dyspnea, coughing up copious amounts of green or blood-stained sputum, chest pain, anxiety, and a craving for hot food and beverages.
PHOSPHORUS
Pneumonia of the left lower lung, pneumonia with oppression, worse lying on the left side, cough with rawness in the chest, hemoptysis by the second or third day, bright red blood, constriction of the larynx, reddish flush on the face, more activity at first, then exhaustion. Worse lying on the left side, better lying on the right side. Paroxysms of 2-3 cough, worse lying down, has to hold the abdomen, improved by
SENEGA
Consider after Bryonia stage if you have rattling in the chest, sticky thick expectoration with wheezing, violent cough, chest hyperesthesia, cough that frequently leads to sneezing, exudations in the pleura, dryness in the throat and chest, and difficulty raising sputum, especially if you have emphysema or COPD.
VERATRUM ALBUM
pneumonia in its early or terminal stages, a rattling cough, breathing difficulties, a tickling sensation in the middle of the chest, a cold sweat on the forehead, and extreme anxiety.
EMERGENCY CASES WITH LOW SpO2
ASPIDOSPERMA
Lack of breath when exerting oneself; the lungs’ equivalent of digitalis; stimulates respiratory centers; raises blood oxygen levels.
ANTIMONIUM TARTARICUM
Great rattling of mucus, but unable to expectorate; feeling as though one would suffocate; forced to sit up; flapping of the ale nasi; cold sweat; cyanosis; loss of appetite; and nausea; better lying on the right side, by eructation’s and expectoration.
CARBO VEGETABILIS
Complicated pneumonia with multiple infections, especially in older people, remedy for the final stage, “death reviver,” offensive sputum, cyanotic, blue, pinched appearance, icy cold sweat, air hunger, gasping for breath, and a desire for sips of cold water.
CARBONEUM OXYGENISATUM
When carbo veg is unsuccessful, the patient becomes unconscious, feels like they are suffocating, their breathing is slow, their hands are icy cold, and their mucus is rattling.
HYDROCYANIC ACID
Coldness, cyanosis, a weak pulse, comatose conditions, gasping, noisy, and agitated breathing are all symptoms of pneumonia with sudden collapse.
OPIUM
Stertorous breathing, a rattling in the chest while sleeping, a cough with dyspnea and a blue face with bloody expectoration, redness with swelling, half-opened eyes, and comatose. Involuntary urination and stools.
