Ambra Grisea has a noticeable effect on the nervous system and is best suited for children who are thin, anxious, restless, and prone to fainting. These children are also likely to be restless, excited, and have an uncontrollable speaking tendency. They also have trouble thinking, difficulty falling asleep due to worry, anxious dreams, and extreme shyness.

Ambra Grisea is also helpful for dyspepsia with stomach distension after midnight, constipation with an ineffective desire for stool that causes anxiety in the patient, and dyspepsia when being around people during stool.

Ambra Grisea is also effective for barking coughs that originate deep in the chest and are aggravated by talking, reading aloud, and being around other people.

Menses that are excessively early and frequent; discharge of blood between periods with the smallest exertion, such as walking; leucorrhoea that is only profuse at night; itching and swelling of the vulva; and other female-related issues are also covered by this remedy.

Indications

With extreme nervous hypersensitivity, external body numbness in the morning, weakness, and a nervous, bilious temperament, it is suitable for hyperactive, anxious kids and thin, anxious patients.

A great remedy for the elderly with impairment of all functions, weakness, coldness, and numbness, usually of single parts, fingers, arms, etc., one-sided complaints call for it. Music aggravates symptoms. Adapted to hysterical subjects, or those suffering from spinal irritation, with convulsive cough, eructation, etc. Also for patients weakened by age or overwork, who are anemic and sleepless.

Mind: Bashful. Loss of love of life. Restless, excited, very loquacious. Time passes slowly. Thinking, difficult in the morning with elderly people. Dwells upon unpleasant things. Fear of people and desire to be alone. Cannot do anything in front of others. Extremely shy and blushes easily. Music causes weeping. Despair, loathing of life. Fantastic illusions.

Head: Senile dizziness. Tearing pain in the upper half of the brain. Slow comprehension. Epistaxis (bleeding from the nose), especially in the morning. Profuse bleeding from the teeth. Hair loss. Pressure on the front part of the head with mental depression. Hearing impairment. Rush of blood to the head when listening to music. Senile dizziness.

Stomach: Acid eructations that feel like heartburn, convulsive coughing fits, stomach and abdominal distention after midnight, and a feeling of coldness in the abdomen are all symptoms of eructations.

Urinary: Urine is turbid even during emission, forming a brown sediment, and there is pain in both the bladder and the rectum at the same time. There is burning in the urethra and anus orifices. There is a feeling that a few drops have passed out of the urethra.

Female: Menses too early, pudendal itching, soreness, and swelling; profuse, bluish leucorrhoea; worse at night; discharge of blood between periods; and discharge of blood at every minor accident.

Male: Voluptuous scrotal itching, numbness on the outside but burning on the inside, and violent erections devoid of voluptuous sensations.

Respiratory: Asthmatic breathing with gas eructation, twitching in the throat, larynx, and trachea, chest constricted, getting out of breath when coughing, hollow, spasmodic, barking cough, coming from deep in the chest, and choking when coughing up phlegm are all symptoms of asthma. They get worse in the presence of people.

Heart: Palpitation, with pressure in the chest as if a lump were lodged there or if the chest were blocked, awareness of the pulse, palpitation in the open air, and a pale face. Sleep: Unable to fall asleep due to worry; must get up; anxious dreams; body coldness and twitching of limbs while sleeping.

Skin: Skin numbness, itching, and soreness, particularly in the genital area, as well as “sleeping” arms.

Extremities: Leg cramps, hand and finger cramps, making it more difficult to grasp anything.

Modalities: Better: slow motion in the open air; lying on the painful part; cold beverages; worse: music; strangers; from anything unusual; morning; warm room.
