• Giloy has a laxative (agent that stimulates bowel movement) and hypoglycemic (agents that lower blood sugar level) action, which makes it useful in treating constipation and diabetes, respectively.
• Mercury and sulfur are combined to make kajjali, which can arouse sexual desire.
