About Baidyanath Chandanasava

Chandana, which is sandalwood and is the primary component of Chandanasava, an Ayurvedic wine preparation with 5–10% self-generated alcohol, is a good remedy for nightfall, strength, and digestion.

However, in Chandanasav, two sweetening agents—a 2:1 mixture of sugar candy and jaggery—are used instead of the usual one found in any Asava or arishta.
