About Baidyanath Mandoor Bhasma

Old iron rust, or ferric oxide (red iron oxide), is the raw material used to make Mandoor bhasma, an ayurvedic calcined iron formulation that is used to treat amenorrhea (absence of periods), dysmenorrhea, jaundice (hemolytic jaundice), liver and spleen disorders, as well as iron deficiency anemia and the debility associated with it.

Direction & Dosage

• 50 to 25 mg for kids
• Adults: 125–375 mg

• 50 to 125 mg for geriatric patients
• 750 mg is the maximum dosage.
