When combined with honey or Maha Triphala Ghrit, the mild laxative and aphrodisiac triphala churna also improves vision.

Pregnant women should avoid this combination of herbs because Triphala because their downward energy favors miscarriage. Triphala is a very old and well-known Ayurvedic mixture of herbs, but it is accompanied by some side effects due to its downward flowing energy.
