A healthy liver contains a small amount of fat; however, it becomes a problem when it reaches 5% to 10% of the weight of the liver, which is the cause of the common condition known as fatty liver disease.

Most of the time, fatty liver disease doesn’t cause any serious issues or interfere with normal liver function, but for 7-30% of those who have the condition, it worsens over time. Fatty liver disease progresses through three stages: a. the liver becomes inflamed, which damages its tissue; b. scar tissue forms where the liver is damaged, which is known as fibrosis; c. extensive scar tissue replaces healthy tissues, which results in cirrhosis of the liver.


If symptoms do appear, they may consist of the following if they are present in people with fatty liver disease:

Upper right side abdominal discomfort or a feeling of fullness.

Feeling sick, not hungry, or losing weight

Conjunctiva, skin, and jaundice that are yellow

· Swollen abdomen and legs

Abnormally high levels of fatigue or confusion

· Weakness

The food regurgitates after eating, by mouthfuls accompanied by sour belching. Very fetid stool and flatus is peculiar to phosphorus. Stool is hard, long, narrow, like dog’s stool. Phosphorus person have weak liver function. Conjunctiva yellow. Jaundice. Stitching pain in liver region. With heart disease or long-lasting bone diseases. Cirrhosis, and atrophy.


Nux vomica is one of the best treatments for fatty liver, which is brought on by alcohol. Liver becomes enlarged, sore, and has stitching pain; pain is worse from contact or motion; toxic liver from drugs, chemicals, and alcohol; weak liver from poor diet, meat, fats, and spices; sour, bitter belching; and constipation with ineffective urging. Stool is incomplete and bloody.


Dolichos is prescribed when itching results from liver issues. These symptoms include jaundice, intense nighttime itching, swelling of the liver with pain radiating through the left lobe, and intense itching without eruptions.


Urticaria with jaundice, a dull headache that is worse in the morning, coated yellow tongue, slow, feeble, irregular pulse, and a weak sinking sensation in the epigastrium are all symptoms of liver disorders with heart complaints.
