Hamamelis: It is used to relieve swelling, bleeding, itching, minor pain, and discomfort brought on by minor skin irritations (e.g., cuts, scrapes, insect bites) such as hemorrhoids, bleeding profusely, with soreness; passive venous hemorrhages from any part; and great value in open, painful wounds with weakness from blood loss.

Additionally, it is used to treat hemorrhoids’ burning, irritation, itching, and discomfort.

Common witch hazel, also referred to as American witch hazel, is known as the “aconite of veins” because it acts on the coats of the veins, relaxing them and causing engorgement as a result.

It reduces the amount of time it takes for sunburns to heal, soothes the skin right away, and helps prevent skin flaking and peeling.
