Homeopathy Medicine for Paralysis

162

Any part of our body can become paralyzed at any time in our lives, and it can be localized or generalized, partial or complete, temporary or permanent. If this happens to us, we won’t likely feel any pain in the affected areas.

Uninjured nerves send signals to muscles, which in turn cause muscles to move, resulting in paralysis, which prevents a person from moving specific body parts. Paralysis is a condition in which a person cannot move their muscles voluntarily.

SYMPTOMS OF PARALYSIS

The inability to move any part of our body, or to move at all, is the primary symptom of paralysis.

It can begin abruptly or gradually, and it occasionally comes and goes.

Every body part is susceptible to paralysis, including:

  • Face
  • Hands
  • (Monoplegia) One arm or leg
  • (Hemiaplegia) A physical impairment on one side
  • Both legs (paraplegia)
  • (Quadruplegia or Tetraplegia) Both arms and legs

Another body part that could be impacted is:

  • Muscle spasms every now and then, stiff (spastic paralysis).
  • Floppy (flaccid paralysis)
  • Numbness, painful or tingling

CAUSES OF PARALYSIS

The following are some common causes of paralysis:

  • a transient ischaemic attack (TIA, also known as a “mini-stroke”)
  • Bell’s palsy
  • Sleep paralysis
  • injury to the spinal cord or the head
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Hypokalemia or intermittent paralysis caused by myasthenia gravis

OTHER CAUSES OF PARALYSIS

As additional causes of paralysis:

  • Brain tumour
  • inherited muscular dystrophy, Friedreich’s ataxia, or spastic paraplegia
  • Lambert-Eaton mysathenic syndrome, motor neuron disease, and spinal muscular atrophy
  • Spina bifida, spinal muscular atrophy, or Guillain-Barré syndrome palsy
  • Lyme disease
  • Post-polio syndrome
  • Head and neck cancer, skin cancer, or a tumor on a nerve

DIAGNOSIS OF PARALYSIS

  • X-rays,
  • CT scans,
  • imaging tests such as MRI scans.
  • Myelography should be performed in the event of spinal cord damage.
