Homeopathy Medicine for Peritonsillar Abscess

102

An abscess is a collection of pus that develops close to an infected area of skin or other soft tissue, and a peritonsillar abscess is one that does so in the tissues of the throat next to one of the tonsils.

If the throat is severely blocked by the abscess, swallowing, speaking, and even breathing become challenging. The abscess can also cause pain, swelling, and other symptoms.

A peritonsillar abscess may happen as a result of tonsillitis, a tonsil infection that spreads and infects the soft tissues.

In general, peritonsillar abscesses are rare, but when they do happen, younger adults, adolescents, and older children are more likely to experience them.
