Homeopathy Medicine for Proteinuria

Increased protein levels in the urine, or proteinuria, are a sign that the kidneys may be damaged.

Proteins aid in the development of muscle and bone, control blood fluid levels, fight infection, and tissue repair; however, if these proteins pass through the urine and leave the body, it is unhealthful.

Normally, the kidneys’ glomeruli, which are tiny loops of blood vessels, filter waste products and extra water from the blood. If the kidneys aren’t functioning properly, protein enters the urine.

If smaller proteins manage to get past the glomeruli (long, thin, hollow tubes in the kidneys), tubules (long, thin, hollow tubes in the body) recapture those proteins and keep them in the body. Glomeruli pass these substances into the urine but not larger proteins and blood cells.

The proteins will flow into the urine, though, if the glomeruli or tubules are damaged, if there is an issue with the reabsorption of the proteins, or if there is an excessive protein load.

About 6.7 percent of Americans experience high levels of urine protein, which are linked to a rapid decline in kidney function and are more common in the elderly and those with other chronic illnesses. The normal amount of urine protein is less than 150 mg per day.

CAUSES OF PROTEINURIA

Proteinuria is frequently brought on by transient or comparatively non-malignant (benign) medical conditions.

Intense exercise or activity, emotional stress, aspirin therapy, exposure to cold, and dehydration are a few of the conditions that can result in proteinuria. A kidney stone in the urinary tract can also result in proteinuria.

The gradual loss of kidney function caused by chronic kidney disease is sometimes detected early on by proteinuria.

Proteinuria may also be caused by additional ailments and diseases that could harm the kidneys, such as:

  • Immunological diseases like Goodpasture’s syndrome and lupus
  • Glomerulonephritis, an acute kidney inflammation
  • Multiple myeloma, a plasma cell cancer
  • Red blood cells are destroyed during intravascular hemolysis, and hemoglobin is released into the bloodstream as a result.
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • The condition known as preeclampsia, in which a pregnant woman experiences both proteinuria and hypertension,
  • Poisoning

SYMPTOMS OF PROTEINURIA

Proteinuria frequently goes undiagnosed, especially if the kidneys are still functioning well. However, if proteinuria is advanced, symptoms may include:

  • More frequent urination
  • Shortness of breath
  • Tiredness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Ankle, foot, face, or stomach swelling
  • Lack of appetite
  • Muscle cramping at night
  • eye puffiness, particularly in the morning
  • Foamy or bubbly urine
