Acetanilidum has been reported to be effective in treating acute articular rheumatism, lumbago, and neuralgic pain when used at a lower potency.

Arnica montana: Known as a muscular tonic, this herb is particularly useful for cases of rheumatism of muscular and tendinous tissue, especially that of the back and shoulders, weakness of the neck muscles, and pains associated with bruises and dislocations of the spine, regardless of how recent the injury may have been.

Causticum: Stiffness between the shoulders; dull pain in the nape of the neck; pain that feels like a bruise there; pulling and acute drawing pains in the shoulder blades; restlessness at night; tearing pains in joints and bones; faint-like sinking of strength; pains worsened by dry and cold winds; better in damp, wet weather; and better in bed’s warmth.

Eschscholtzia californica: Studies have shown that this plant has anxiolytic effects in addition to being used as a tranquilizer and a mild analgesic, sedative, and antispasmodic.

Hypericum perfoliatum: It is one of the most effective treatments for neuralgic pain, including lancinating pain in the upper and lower limbs, darting pain in the shoulders, neuritis with tingling, burning pain, numbness, and flossy skin, traumatic neuralgia and neuritis, very sensitive cervical vertebrae, postpartum backache, and the effects of spinal concussion.

Lachnanthes tinctoria: Right side of neck stiff, head drawn to right, pain in neck on bending head backward. Pain in nape, as if dislocated. Pain and stiffness in back and neck.

Rhus toxicodendron: Used to treat tearing pains in tendons and ligaments that are worse with exertion, after exhaustion, from getting wet and cold, and that are accompanied by an overwhelming desire to move or change the position.

Ruta graveolens: Lumbar vertebrae pain as if bruised; spine and limbs feel sore; wrists and hands painful and stiff; sciatica; worsens at night when lying down; pain from back down hips and thighs; backache better when lying on back.

Symphytum officinale: It is regarded as an orthopedic-specific remedy that aids in the reunion of broken bones. It is also indicated for knee neuralgia, back pain from falls, and spinal and other bone decay.

Dosage: In chronic cases, the therapy should be continued for a considerable amount of time. If complaints are not relieved, consult a specialist. Unless otherwise directed by the doctor, in acute episodes of pains (as SOS), 10-20 drops every hour, which should gradually be reduced to 10-20 drops 2-3 times a day.
