Boldo MT is a weak local anesthetic with diuretic and stimulant properties from the volatile oil. It is indicated for atony of bladder, cholecystitis, biliary calculus, loss of appetite with bitter taste, hypochondriasis, constipation, congested or sluggish liver, burning weight in liver and stomach, painful hepatic diseases, and disturbed liver functions after malaria.
