About Dabur Tuvarak Tail

The tree Hydnocarpus kurzii, which is native to India, Myanmar, and Thailand and is in the Flacourtiaceae family, is known by the common name “Tuvarak.” In India, this tree is primarily found in the states of Assam and Tripura.

In Ayurveda, Chaulmoogra Oil has been used for treating leprosy and other skin conditions since the dawn of time, both internally and externally. Frederic John Mouat, an English physician who was a professor of medicine at the Bengal Medical College when he first learned of the oil, introduced it to Western medicine in 1854. Mouat used the oil to treat the external ulcers of leprosy patients and observed positive results.

• Vomiting and nausea can be brought on by taking 3–4 drops of oil orally.
