Homeopathy Medicine for Endometriosis

93

External endometriosis, which is what is meant when the term “endometriosis” is used without qualification, is a condition in which endometrial tissue grows in locations outside of the uterine cavity. Internal endometriosis refers to this condition when the ectopic endometrium is inside the uterine wall.

Pregnancy protects against endometriosis. Secondary dysmenorrhoea is common; it may start a few days before menses are to appear. Dysparunia is a common symptom. Increased frequency or irregular menses is common when the ovaries are involved. Maximum incidences are found in women between the ages of 30 and 40. Spontaneous remission occurs after menopause, likely due to the withdrawal of ovarian stimulation.

SYMPTOMS OF ENDOMETRIOSIS

Although many women experience cramping during their periods, those who have endometriosis frequently report menstrual pain that is much worse than usual. Pain may also worsen over time. Pelvic pain is the main symptom of endometriosis and is frequently linked to menstrual periods.

Endometriosis frequently exhibits the following symptoms:

  • Pelvic pain and cramping, as well as lower back and abdominal pain, can start several days prior to and last for several days during painful periods (dysmenorrhea).
  • Pain with intercourse-Endometriosis frequently causes pain during or following sex.
  • Pain when urinating or going to the bathroom is a symptom that is more common during a menstrual period.
  • Excessive bleeding.Intermenstrual bleeding (bleeding between periods) and/or irregularly heavy menstrual periods are possible.
  • Infertility. When a person seeks treatment for infertility, endometriosis is occasionally discovered for the first time.
  • Other signs and symptoms.Especially during menstrual periods, one may feel exhausted, diarrhoeal, constipated, bloated, or sick.

CAUSES OF ENDOMETRIOSIS

Endometriosis may be caused by a variety of factors, though the exact cause is unknown.

  • Retrograde menstruation occurs when menstrual blood, which contains endometrial cells, returns through the fallopian tubes and into the pelvic cavity rather than exiting the body. These endometrial cells adhere to the surfaces of the pelvic organs and the walls of the pelvis, where they develop, thicken, and bleed throughout the course of each menstrual cycle.
  • Transformation of peritoneal cells-Experts contend that the peritoneal cells that line the inner side of our abdomen can change into endometrial-like cells through a process known as “induction,” which may be aided by hormones or immune factors.
  • Early developmental stages of embryonic cells may be transformed by hormones like estrogen into endometrial-like cell implants during adolescence.
  • Implantation of surgical scars: Endometrial cells may adhere to an incision following surgery, such as a hysterectomy or C-section.
  • Endometrial cells may be transported to various locations throughout the body by the blood vessels or tissue fluid (lymphatic) system.
  • Immune system disorder-The body’s inability to identify and eliminate endometrial-like tissue that is developing outside the uterus may be caused by a problem with the immune system.

RISK FACTOR OF ENDOMETRIOSIS

You are more likely to get endometriosis if you have a number of things, including:

  • Never giving birth
  • A young age when we first get our period
  • having a later onset of menopause
  • for example, shorter than 27 day menstrual cycles
  • heavy, longer-than-seven-day menstrual cycles
  • Having more estrogen in your system or being exposed to more of the estrogen your body produces over the course of your lifetime
  • Low body mass index
  • with endometriosis, including a mother, aunt, or sister
  • any illness that interferes with the body’s regular ability to excrete menstrual blood flow
  • Reproductive tract abnormalities

COMPLICATION OF ENDOMETRIOSIS

  • Impaired Infertility
  • Fertilization and implantation
  • Impaired fertility
  • Cancer
  • Ovarian cancer
