Ushira, which has cold potency and is used in mutra krich, mutraghat, etc., is one of the herbs in this alcohol-based herbal remedy for balancing pitta dosha in the body. This formulation is made using age-old, tried-and-true methods, and it also contains a number of other herbs that help maintain a healthy body by balancing the dosha.

• Vetiveria zizanioides’ Ushira
• (Pavonia odorata) Netrabala
• Nymphaea Stellata’s Neel Kamal
• Kamal, a nelumbo nuttifera
• White Lotus singer Safed Kamal
• Callicarpa Macrophylla, the flower of Priyangu
• (Gmelina Arborea) Gambhari
• Prunus Cerasoides, also known as “Padmaka”
• Symplocos racemosa in Lodhra
• Rubia Cordifolia, also known as Manjistha
• Fagonia Cretica, Dhamasa (Duralabha)
• Cissampelos Pareira, Patha
• Swertia Chirata is a Chirayata (Kiratatikta)
• Ficus benghalensis, also known as bargad
• Racemosa Ficus Udumbara
• Bauhinia variegata Kanchnaar
• Syzygium Cumini’s Jamun (Java Plum)
• Pitpapra – Indian mugwort
• Curcuma zedoaria, Kachur

• Nardostachys Jatamansi is the scientific name for Jatamansi.

Dosage:

• 15–25 ml, after meals once or twice a day, or as prescribed by an ayurvedic physician.

Contraindications:

• It is best to use this medicine as directed by your doctor because there could be minor side effects from taking too much of this syrup.
• Stomach aches are a sign of overdose.
• While pregnant, use only as directed by a doctor.
• Kids should not have access to it.
