Paeonia is helpful in painful ulcer, oozing offensive moisture on perineum, helps to lessen the occurrence of hemorrhoids, fissures, ulceration of anus, and perineum covered with crusts. It is said to have the most prominent action on the anal and the rectal area. It is associated with pains and ulcers in the lower body.

Paeonia relieves the complaints of sudden, pasty diarrhoea with faintness in the abdomen, swollen anal region with intense itching, scratching in the afternoon with ulcers of round cut edges, fissure, fistula, and piles, and burning in the anal region after passing stools. Rectum: Paeonia gives effective results in severe pains, experienced with and after each stool.

Extremities: Paeonia is a good treatment option for severe pain in the extremities that is accompanied by weakness and difficulty walking. Trembling in the legs as a result of pain is also accompanied by cramps in the calf muscles.

Skin: Paeonia relieves swelling, biting, and itching at the site of ulcers as well as abscesses, burning skin pains, and ulcers with foul discharge.

Paeonia is helpful for restless and disrupted sleep. It reduces ulcers that generally result from pressure, bedsores, etc., as well as sensitive, painful ulcers below the coccyx and around the sacrum, as well as varicose veins.
