Alstonia Scholaris works as a tonic after exhausting fevers, which cause a gone feeling in the stomach and sinking in the abdomen with weakness. It also helps with abdominal problems when there is violent purging and cramp in the bowels, as well as diarrhoea from bad water and malaria, which causes painless water stools and diarrhoea that occurs right after eating. It is also helpful in dysentery when there are bloody stools and bloody diarrhea.
