ZOOLOGICAL NAME: Tarentula hispania.

COMMON NAMES: Spanish spider

The hairy spider has six eyes, several pairs of legs, with the third pair in particular being the shortest, and is described as having a stout body that is grayish brown on the upper surface and deep saffron yellow on the under surface with a transverse black band. The spider is most poisonous in the month of July.
