Yastimadhu (Mulethi) is used in Indian medicine along with amla powder, coriander seed powder, giloy and nut grass powder for treating gastritis and hyperacidity. It acts as an antacid, lowers free and total HCL levels in the stomach, and reduces acidic irritation to the peptic mucosa.

Direction & Dosage

Licorice Powder (Mulethi Churna) should be taken twice daily with water, lukewarm milk, or as directed by a doctor. Children should take between 250 mg and 1.5 grams, while adults should take between 1 and 3 grams per day (in divided doses).

Unwanted effects
