Amlapittantak Lauha (Bhaishjya Ratanavali) is composed as follows:

• Parad Shuddha
• Gandhak Shuddha
• Bhasma Mandur
• Bhasma Kanta lauha
• Bhasma Abhraka
• Amlaki

Indications of Amlapittantak Lauha

• When pitta is too strong, it provides relief.
• It is acid-reducing in nature.
• Anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties are present.
• Additionally helpful are loose stools, vomiting brought on by an excess of pitta, and burning urination.
• The level of hemoglobin is raised.

Uses of Amlapittantak Lauha

Amlapittantak Lauha is used to treat Amlapitta, a condition in which there is an excess of acid in the gastric juices that causes discomfort, including acid reflux, hiccups, burping, nausea, and pain and burning in the abdomen.

Amlapittantak Lauh dosage
