HOMEOPATHY FOR ALBUMINURIA

231

Albuminuria, also known as proteinuria, is a kidney disease that causes excessive protein to be excreted in the urine.

Typically, either chronic hyperglycemia or hypertension will cause albuminuria in people with diabetes.

Albumin, a protein that aids in preventing water loss from blood into other tissues, is kept in the blood when the kidneys are functioning properly because it helps to filter out waste products while keeping in important components.

Causes

While not always indicative of kidney damage, certain conditions can temporarily increase the amount of protein in urine. These conditions include:

· Dehydration

· Emotional stress

· Exposure to extreme cold

· Fever

· Strenuous exercise

Protein levels in urine that are persistently high and may be a sign of kidney disease include the following illnesses and conditions:

Amyloidosis, an accumulation of unusual protein in organs.

A few medications, like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications.

· Chronic kidney disease.

· Diabetes.

Endocarditis, a condition in which the heart’s inner lining is infected.

· Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.

Glomerulonephritis, an inflammation of the kidney’s filtering cells for waste.

· Heart disease

· Heart failure.

· High blood pressure.

· Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Immunoglobulin A antibody buildup causes kidney inflammation known as Berger’s disease.

· Pyelonephritis, kidney infection.

· Lupus.

· Malaria.

· Multiple myeloma.

The kidneys’ small blood vessels that filter urine are damaged in nephrotic syndrome.

Proteinuria caused by orthostatic erection, which causes an increase in urine protein levels.

· Preeclampsia.

· Pregnancy.

· Rheumatoid arthritis.

Sarcoidosis, a condition where the body accumulates inflammatory cells.

· Sickle cell anemia.

Symptoms

If albuminuria is advanced, symptoms can include: Albuminuria is frequently asymptomatic, especially if the kidneys are only beginning to malfunction.

· More frequent urination

· Shortness of breath

· Tiredness

· Nausea and vomiting

Facial, abdominal, foot, and ankle swelling

· Lack of appetite

· Muscle cramping at night

Under-eye puffiness, particularly in the morning

· Foamy or bubbly urine

HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES

In terms of ALBUMINURIA, there are many effective medicines available in homoeopathy, but the choice depends on the patient’s individuality, taking into account mental and physical symtoms. Homoeopathy is currently a rapidly expanding system that is being practiced all over the world. Its strength lies in its evident effectiveness as it takes a holistic approach towards the sick individual through promotion of inner balance at mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical levels.
