Indications

Mind: Time moves slowly. Variable mood. Better as day progresses. Suicidal tendency when seeing knife or blood. Low spirits; fears loss of reason. Confused as to personal identity. Hasty, hurried.

Head: Throbbing headache with constipation. Vertigo, with nausea; better after breakfast. Hair falling out; scalp itches and is numb. Pressure in forehead as from a tight hat. Inability to walk except with eyes open. Stitching, burning pain in head, with vertigo, worse in the morning, but relieved by food.

Eyes: Things appear yellow, the eyes are chilly, and the lids are dry, burning, smarting, thickening, and aggravating in the morning.

Ears: Eustachian tube feels blocked and is humming and roaring.

Nose: Fluent coryza. Pain at the base of the nose. Diminished sense of smell. Point of nose cracked, sore, red nostrils; worse to the touch. Scabs with thick yellow mucus. Membranes swollen and soggy.

Face: Blood boils and pimples, lower jaw twitching, and a rush of blood to the face after eating. Feels as though albuminous substance has dried on it.

Evacuation preceded by painful urging long before stool, and then straining at stool. Rectum sore, dry, inflamed, bleeding. Itching and burning at anus. Even a soft stool is passed with difficulty.
