Seborrheic keratoses are benign skin growths that typically appear on the head, neck, chest, or back. They are typically brown, black, or light tan in color and have a waxy, scaly appearance with a slight raised border.

CAUSE

Unknown exact causes of srrheic keratosis exist. Since the condition tends to run in some families, genes may be involved.

Symptoms

Seborrheic keratoses commonly develop on the face, chest, shoulders, or back and typically resemble waxy or wart-like growths.

A seborrheic keratosis:

  • has a color spectrum that goes from light tan to brown or black.
  • is it oval or round?
  • Has the typical appearance of being “pasted on”
  • possesses a scaly surface and is flat or barely raised.
  • varies in size from extremely tiny to over 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) across.
  • May itch

Homoeopathic Treatment

ARSENIC ALBUM –

The scalp is covered in white scales that itch intolerably, there are circular patches on bare spots, and there is a great deal of anxiety and restlessness. This is helpful for seborrheic dermatitis in weak people with fair skin.

KALI SULHURICUM

Useful for scales that are sticky in nature and have a moist scalp with itching. Useful for seborrheic dermatitis with yellow scales and prominent yellow flakes on the scalp.

THUJA OCCIDENTALIS

Dry hair that may be split at the ends and seborrheic dermatitis with white flakes on the scalp benefit greatly from this treatment.

CALCAREA SULPH

When eruptions with yellow pus appear and hair starts falling out, treatment for seborrheic dermatitis is advised.

GRAPHITES
